In a previous post I mentioned I would buy a scale and put a graphic of my weight on the weblog. Well I did. Today I bought the scale and the graphic function is working perfectly. For the moment you will not the graphic, because for it to work we need at least 2 values. So from next Monday you will see the graphic, I hope the value is going down.
For the people who want to want to follow my progress I made a static page in which the graphic is shown, and a few highlights in the process.
I stepped on the scale and my weight is…….. 95.5 kilogram.
I know that is way to much. But to be honest I am relieved, I thought it would be more.
So next week I will step on my scale again and you will see a graphic with downward value.

I keep postponing he redesign of my main website. Now I’m gonna force myself to work on it.
I’ve made a complete backup of my site, of everything on my server. Even the databases. I took the site off. Delete every thing EXCEPT a few files and folders needed for other projects.

Tomorrow it’s Halloween. In holland it’s not tradition to celebrate this. But there are more and more halloween parties here in holland 
Dancing wearing a scary costume. How can you not love that? This year just like the last two years Culture Clash organized a party. Like the previous two years I was in costume. Every year I have to have a cool costume. The first year I was “the Crow” (cool movie), Last year I was “The Phantom of the Opera” and this year I was the root of all evil.
Yep I was the devil. Okey not the big kahun. I was mephisto the first demon of hell. But since nobody knows who that is I just called myself the first son of the devil, or just the devil.
Two little horns, a pail (death) face, evil grin and I turned in one cool looking devil.
The party was real good. Good music, Girls dancing in tight skirts, pants or cat suits. A couple of very hot devil girls, what more do you want.
In a couple of weeks we will put the pictures on the website x3mist.
As soon as I have more pictures I will post them in my gallery and my hyves profile. So look out people the devil is on the internet

I have been fighting with myself about the design of my site. I need to redesign my site and integrate wordpress in it. Or integrate the rest of my site in my weblog.
I have tried both of them (on my testing server) and I’m not satisfied with the results.
So I’m still looking for a good looking solution.
I’ve found a solution for wordpress integration in joomla and mambo. But I’m not gonna use web community software for a personal site.
Come on, I’m a web designer so I have to be able to design my own site without downloading a CMS and making my own template…
It is easier to use mambo, joomla or something like that. But I’ve never been a guy that automatically goes for easy. But we’ll see what happens.

It has been a while since my last post. Here is a short list of what I’ve been up to.
On September 7th 2007 culture clash had a festival in ASTA. Even though Asta screwed us financially the festival was kind of a success. I was in charge of the fashion show. This meant recruiting, training the male models and some of the choreography. Roshnie was in charge of training the female models. Because she was also busy getting the clothes most of the work was in my hands. We discussed this so it’s not like she neglected her work. It was just the way we agreed to do the work. At the festival I was in charge of stage management. So I had my hands full that day. Because of my job that day I did not see most of the acts. But my brother told me the fashion show was a success.
My brother and I are finishing the design for my tattoo. I’m already looking for the best tattoo artist. And one that doesn’t put a giant hole in me wallet. The design is my name “Rafiek” but in a much cooler specially design font You have to see it to get it.
A few days ago I finished the page my brother is gonna use to promote his photography work. At the moment it is just one page. One album, kinda. http://twelve-o-six.rafieksilver.com/ And yes that cool looking dude in the first picture is me
Now we have some time to start working on a complete site. And the payment is good. He is paying me by teaching me photography and I can borrow his superduper camera anytime I need it. Yep that is how brothers do business
